We're absolutely in love with the hexagonal accent panels we dreamt up, to (further) elevate the wow factor, of this high-tech concrete cabinet face installation.
GDM Ultra High Performance Concrete was cast over thin sheets of Hexagonally perforated metal, then hardened surfaces were honed to expose the embedded pattern. The metal sheets are not flawlessly flat, so, if you stop the honing process at just the right moment a beautiful and organic pattern variability is affected.
A deeper cut can render a uniform show through, if so-desired, but this perfectly imperfect surface is a show-stopping winner for this kitchen.
